You are also living in an extraordinary time. There has never been a period in human history with so many opportunities and the potential to realize your dreams. The only limits of what you can be, do, or have are the limits you place on yourself by your own thoughts.

The secret to unlocking your amazing potential in order to enjoy all that life has to offer is simply by understanding the most important Law of the Universe:

The Law of Attraction = “You become what you think about”

This Law states that your outer world is very much a mirror image of your inner world. If you change your thinking, you change your life. It’s that simple!

Your thoughts control and determine everything that happens to you. They can raise or lower your heart rate, affect your digestion, change the chemical composition of your blood, and help you sleep or keep you awake at night.

Your thoughts can immediately make you happy or sad, positive or negative, powerful or powerless, rich or poor. Your thoughts and mind are amazingly powerful.

But you and only you have complete control over the content of your own mind. You can only think one thought at a time, so if you find yourself thinking about something negative then you can choose to immediately think about something positive in line with your goals and dreams. This power is all you need to create a wonderful life for yourself.

This article will not only teach you how to “Change your thinking to change and improve your life”, but a fun, practical step by step approach to achieving all your goals and dreams.

Read on to learn the SECRET unlimited joy, health, money, relationships, love: everything you have ever wanted.

Law of Attraction –
You become what you think about

The Law of Attraction = “You become what you think about” was first written about in 3000 BC and underlies and explains almost everything that happens to you. It is the most important Law in natural force of the Universe.

The Law of Attraction says “You are a “living magnet” and that you attract the people and events into your life that harmonize with your dominant thoughts, especially those thoughts that you emotionalize strongly.

Positive thoughts create a force field of energy that draw into your life people, ideas, resources and opportunities you need to achieve your goals.

So when you stand in front of a mirror and you see your reflection, this picture is determined by your previous thoughts.

Your outer world is in reality a mirror image of your inner world (inner thoughts). What is going on outside of you is a reflection or manifestation of what’s going on inside of your mind.

“The world is like a great mirror. It reflects back to you what you are. If you’re loving, if you are friendly, if you are helpful, the world will prove loving, helpful, friendly, and helpful to you. The world is what you are.” Thomas Dreier

Thoughts create therefore what you believe in you will create. The universe simply gives us what we believe in. Change your belief (thoughts) and you will change your life. Everything you create in your material world begins with a thought of some kind. If you want to change something on the outside, then you need to change it on the inside.

To make The Law of Attraction work for you, you need to keep your mind clearly focused on what you want, and don’t think about what you don’t want. Then you will attract everything you need to achieve your goals and dreams. By changing your thinking you will literally change your life and future!

“We are shaped by our thoughts and we become what we think.“ Buddha

But be careful your mind can be your best friend or your worst enemy. Your thoughts alone have the power to make you happy or unhappy, healthy or sick, rich or poor, popular or unpopular. Your mind is literally a powerful magnet that can attract wonderful results or painful unhappiness. People are poor on the outside primarily because they are poor on the inside.

People who think and talk continually about what they want attract more of these things into their lives. People who talk and think about what they don’t want, the things they fear or worry about, continually attract negative and unhappy experiences into their lives.

“You create your own Universe as you go along” Winston Churchill

You have complete control over only one thing in the universe – your thinking, and because you can think about only one thought at a time, you have complete control over your own mind and everything that happens to you.

You can decide what you are going to think about in any given situation. Your thoughts and feelings lead to your actions and determine the results you get. Everything starts with your thoughts. Positive thoughts are life enhancing. They make you feel stronger and more confident. Negative thoughts bring about the opposite; they make you feel weaker and less confident.

Do not justify negative emotions and thoughts just get over them. Negative emotions simply undermine your happiness and self confidence, making you weaker and less effective in other areas of your life.

Remember what ever you dwell on and talk about becomes your reality. If you start thinking about problems or things that you fear, then make the conscious decision to think about something positive or the solution to the problem. If you continue to focus on what you don’t want to happen to you then be careful of what you will experience!

Many people think that they are not clever enough, creative enough, or talented enough to achieve the things they dream about. But the fact of the matter is there are very few limits to what you can accomplish, except the limits in your own mind. Napoleon Hill said in his classic book Think and Grow Rich;

“What ever the mind of a man can conceive and believe it can achieve.”

The most important lesson you can learn in life to be successful and happy is: you must think and talk only about the things you want. At the same time, you must discipline yourself not to think, talk and worry about the things you don’t want. Focus on the solution rather than the problem. When you change the quality of your thinking you change the quality of your life, sometimes instantly. It’s that simple.

“The greatest revolution of my generation is the discovery that by changing the inner attitudes of your mind, you can change the outer aspects of your life.” William James

So to enjoy a life filled with happiness and success create within yourself the mental picture of what you wish to enjoy on the outside. Focus on images of success, health, happiness, prosperity and personal achievement consistent with what you really want from life. You need to create your desired reality in your mind before you can experience it in your world.

The beauty of being human is that you and only you can choose your thoughts and the more you think positively the better you become at it and in no time it becomes a habit, becomes second nature and the difference is amazing.

Your main goal in life should be to harness and focus your amazing powers and talents that are unique to you and direct them intelligently and systematically towards achieving all that you desire and ultimately unlimited happiness.

Happiness is the supreme goal of mankind

Aristotle, one of the greatest philosophers, wrote thousands of years ago that the ultimate aim of all human action is happiness. He said that everything a person does, they do to achieve happiness of some kind. Sometimes they are successful other times not but the ultimate goal is always happiness. But how do you personally achieve happiness?

Your ability to ask and answer this question correctly is the key to everything that happens to you and everything that you accomplish. The worst use of time and life is to work hard to climb the ladder of success only to find its leaning against the wrong building!

The fastest and best way for you to obtain happiness is to spend the necessary time to sit down and think and plan so that you are absolutely clear about who you are as a person, your values and goals then immediately begin to live the life you have chosen.

When you know exactly what you want, in each area of your life you vastly increase your chances of success, because you can’t hit a target you can’t see! The first step on the road to happiness is to take the time to create a personal mission statement.

Create a mission statement –
Who are you and what makes you happy?

A mission statement is a clear definition of exactly who you are, your values, what’s important to you, what your dreams are, and what you want out of life. Stephen Covey the author of the “7 Habits” suggests that you write out your personal mission statement as if you were writing your own obituary. Define your mission as the way you would like to be remembered, with the description you would like a trusted friend to read at your funeral.

The best way to start this process is to set aside quality time and go somewhere quiet, a place that will allow you to be creative, this may be a café with a lovely atmosphere or out in nature. The best time to do this exercise is early in the morning as your mind is most creative early in the day.

Bring with you some paper and colour pens, close your eyes and just write and draw pictures of your thoughts and dreams, don’t analyze them. Just let your mind float freely. Imagine that you could do, be, have or achieve everything in life, if you truly had no limitations whatsoever on your potential.

“The very best way to predict the future is to create it” Peter Drucker

Create a dream vision for your life. Imagine you have been completely successful in achieving all your goals and describe your life and activities as if you had already achieved them today. An example of a mission statement could be: “I am a happy, healthy, positive, and fun to be around, I am excellent at my job and well liked by co workers, extremely well paid, and I am deeply loved by my family and friends.”

This mission statement can start as the original blue print of your life. You can use it to help you make decisions that are consistent with your mission and who you want to be. You should also review, update and expand it at regular intervals. It serves as a guide for your behaviour toward other people throughout your life. It is an expression of your values and all that you stand for.

Your values lie at the very core of everything you are as a human being. What do you believe in and care about the most? Never compromise these values, always stay true to yourself.

If you find this process difficult or ideas don’t seem to flow then the key to get started is to think about what you love to do and things that make you happiest. Discipline yourself to write down as much as possible because your ability to set and achieve goals will determine your success and happiness more than any other skill you can ever learn.

Many successful people say that the secret of their success is built around finding out what they enjoyed and loved doing and doing it with their whole heart. Successful people feel they don’t work at all, their job is just a hobby they enjoy doing. Can you say the same about your job? If not then its time to take two steps back and plan differently for the future! Don’t get it backwards as most people do. Most people think they have to work so they eventually have the time and money to do what they love doing.

The true starting point of living the kind of life that is possible for you is to create an exciting future vision of what you would like your life to be, in every area, if you had no limitations at all. Imagine that you could be, have or do anything at all in your family, finances, and personal life. Then set clear written SMART goals, backed by detailed plans, to make your dreams come true.

Be Grateful for what you have

Gratitude creates positive energy. So be grateful for all the good things in life even if they may seem small in the start. It doesn’t matter if you are starting from humble beginnings or a life full of success get up in the morning and be happy for what you have.

The cloths on your back, the food on the table etc it doesn’t matter just be grateful. By being grateful for everything you currently have you send the right signals to the universe that you are ready to receive more.

“Those that are grateful for what they have get more to be grateful for”!

A good way to make this exercise work is by keeping a nice stone or ornament in your pocket or wallet. Take it out at night and put it on your bedside table then take a few minutes to be grateful for all the positive things in life. Do the same thing in the morning but remember only to focus on the things you are grateful for, because the Law of Attraction states you become what you think about most of the time!

Successful SMART Goal Setting –
Turning your Dreams into Reality by Writing Your SMART Goals down & making a detailed Plan!

They way you write and phrase your goals is incredibly important to their chance of success. Most peoples “goals” are merely just wishes because they don’t write them down or when they do write them down they don’t phrase them correctly.

Writing effective SMART goals includes; writing your goal down, phrasing your goal in the present tense as if you have already achieved it, making a positive, realistic and precise statement, incorporating the benefits you will experience into your goal which adds emotion and desire, writing a deadline to achieving the goal, making detailed and precise plans to achieve your goal and lastly reviewing and updating your SMART goals regularly.

SMART goals stands for:

S: Be SPECIFIC or very clear about your goals when writing them down.
M: Make sure you are very clear how you will MEASURE your success.
A: Make your goals challenging but also ACHEIVABLE.
R: Be REALISTIC. If you weigh 60kg you will never be a heavy weight boxing champion
T: Each goal must also be TIME based and set with deadlines and sub deadlines.

Every goal you set must conform to the above SMART goal formula if you want success. So keep in mind what SMART stands for as we expand this concept in the steps below and in doing so you will quickly and easily turn goals from fantasy to reality. Let’s use loosing a certain amount of body fat as an example of the goal you would like to achieve. But your goal could be anything, financial, family, employment etc.

Step 1: Write your goal down
To successfully set goals you must write them down in as much detail as possible. Merely having a goal of loosing a certain amount of body fat is not a goal until you write it down. Until you put it in writing, it is still a fantasy. Once your SMART goal is in writing, it is set in stone. Always write out your goals by hand and not on a computer, because you’re unique handwriting personalises your goals and sends your personal energy to the Universe.

You also have to be specific with the amount of fat you want to loose. So your goal of wishing to loose body fat now becomes: “I would like to loose 5kg of body fat”. Congratulations simply writing down your goal will make it 80 percent more likely that you will achieve it!

You will also notice that I have incorporated “I” into the above sentence. It is essential that you personalize the goal as much as possible because this adds emotion to the goal, which in turn acts as a strong motivator to working towards achieving it.

Step 2: Write your goal down in the present tense
The second step is to write down your goal in the present tense as if you already have achieved them. It is incredibly important to use the present tense because simply having “I would like to loose 5kg of body fat” is saying you wish to loose body fat but that is not the outcome you want.

You want to physically loose weight and not just wish for something. Wishing for something is “dangerous” because the more you wish for it the more you get to wish for it! So then your goal of “I would like to loose 5kg of body fat” now becomes: "I have lost 5kg of body fat”. Wording your goal correctly can greatly impact whether or not you actually achieve it.

Step 3: What are the benefits of your goal?
The third step is to incorporate into your SMART goal the major benefits you will experience after you have achieved it, so it now becomes, "I have lost 5kg of body fat. I look and feel fantastic, can fit my favourite jeans, am incredibly healthy with lots of energy and love life!” Be specific on what your life will be like when you have met this goal, this adds emotion and desire and therefore more motivation to work hard to achieving your dreams.

Step 4: Set a deadline for your goal.
The forth step is to put a deadline on the goal, so it now becomes, "I have lost 5kg of body fat. I look and feel fantastic, can fit my favourite jeans and I am incredibly healthy with lots of energy and the date is NOT even the 1st of July 2007!”

You must have a realistic deadline to achieving your goal. If you don’t make this deadline then don’t despair it’s just a case of simply setting a new deadline. Now take your finished SMART goal and write it on several post-it notes. Place them in your car, at your office, on your bathroom mirror and one by your bed so you will be constantly reminded of your dreams.

Step 5: Plan your way to goal achievement
Planning is essential in achieving your SMART goal so make a plan, complete with deadlines and sub deadlines, as well as priorities. Start with the goal in mind, do some reverse engineering and write down every single action that you can possibly think of that you could do now or in the future to achieve this goal. For loosing body fat this could be, healthy eating, eating less food, exercise etc.

Force yourself to write at least 20 ideas down as it’s often in the last few ideas that the breakthrough comes. This is an important exercise; you can’t plan too much, for every minute spent planning can save you 10 minutes in execution. The more you plan on how to achieve your goal the greater your chances of success.

By writing out your goals and plans, you plant them deeper into your subconscious mind. You increasingly believe they are possible to achieve. And by the Law of Attraction you start to attract ideas, people, and resources to help you achieve them. So make very detailed plans and as you do so your goal appears more and more achievable! The more detailed your plan the more likely you will accomplish it!

Once you have the list of activities you need to do to achieve your goal, prioritize them in order of importance. Select the most important activity and act on it immediately. Then every day set aside quality time to work through the activities you need to do to achieve your goal.

Soon you will begin to see progress and this progress will motivate you even more to work even harder at achieving your goal. You will have more energy and focus and you will begin to create your own future. And all it takes is a sheet of paper, a pen and a few minutes of your time!

Congratulations now that you have written your goals down, in the present tense, with a deadline and made plans to achieve them you have now moved into the top 3% of people living today. Why because 97% of adults have no written goals or plans to achieve them.

Step 6: Make a list of the 10 goals you would like to accomplish in the next year
Now that you now know how to successfully set goals go back to your dream list that you made when defining your mission statement. Take another sheet of paper and write today’s date at the top and working from your dream list make a list of the 10 goals you would like to accomplish in the next 12 months.

Once you are finished give yourself a few days break then go back and review what you have written. Then expand what you want to achieve in the next 12 months, to long term goals of 5 to 10 years and lifetime goals.

Studies have shown that by using 5 minutes on this simple exercise of writing down the 10 goals you would like to achieve in the next year most people amazingly achieve as many as 8 of them. That’s right 5 minutes of your time, a pen and paper to astounding results! So if you have not written your 10 goals down for 2007 put this article down and immediately get started, you have nothing to loose and everything to gain!

Step 7: What is your most important goal?
Now you have your list of the 10 goals ask yourself the following question, “Which one goal would have the greatest positive impact on your life if you were to achieve it?” Now write this goal on another piece of paper. This goal now becomes your major focus for the next 12 months. This becomes the goal that you think about and work on most of the time.

Congratulations give yourself a pat on the back because now you have just moved into the top 1% of adults when you have chosen your major goal, written it down and made plans to achieve it.

Step 8: Desire and motivation.
Take action immediately on your goal; every day prioritize some quality time, do something to move you towards it, and resolve that you will never give up. Remember nothing in life comes for free everything requires hard work. The only question you need to answer is this: How badly do you want it?

Step 9: Review your goals daily
It’s a good idea to buy a small book that you can fit in your pocket or handbag and each morning take a few minutes to rewrite your major goals in the present tense, exactly as if they already exist.

Once you have done that write down 3 actions you can do to achieve each goal, by doing so you will be focusing your brain every morning on the road map to success. And because the book is small you can take it out when ever you have a few minutes to review your goal and work on your plans to achieving them!

Step 10: When you visualize with feeling then you begin to materialise.
So take a few minutes after rewriting every goal every morning to visualize it as thought it was already accomplished. See each goal in your mind as though it already existed. Think about how you would feel if you had achieved your goal. Would you feel proud, happy, or exhilarated? Visualize yourself enjoying all the benefits of realising your dream. Then, smile, relax, and let it go.

When you think and visualize about your goals and dreams, you become more positive purposeful and creative. You create a clear, exciting future vision of your goals and dreams becoming reality. Then by the Law of Attraction, you will find that you like a powerful magnet begin to attract the people and events into your life necessary to achieve even your wildest dreams.

Visualization is so powerful. What you see is what you get. But you must visualize with feeling, thoughts alone are not enough you must actually feel your goal as already achieved, think about how much you desire it, and emotionalize it – in short you must think how badly do you want it? When you close your eyes and visualize you need to get the feeling you would have if you already had achieved your goal!

To strengthen your ability to visualize and affirm, buy magazines containing pictures of your goals (jobs, wealth, families, home, cars, holidays etc.) that you intend to achieve one day. Cut them out and post them all around your house and office. Think about and imagine them continually as if you already own them.

So going back to our goal of loosing 5kg of body fat, visualize and feel the fat burning and your muscle tone increasing as you exercise. Picture how good you will feel when implementing the dietary recommendations to give you the building blocks to sculpt your dream body.

Imagine life with fantastic health, vitality and an abundance of energy. Take time each day to visualize. Do this at night or when you get up in the morning while reading and reviewing your goals. The results will amaze you.

You may think you can’t achieve your goals or friends and family say they are impossible but as Einstein said “what the mind can conceive you can achieve”. The very fact that you can write it down and visualize it means that it is possible for you to achieve it. The only questions are, how badly do you want it? Are you willing to pay the price, in advance, to get it? Only you can answer these questions.

The key to achieving a life full of happiness is to know exactly what you want, in each area of your life. You vastly increase your chances of success by writing down clear, specific, measurable goals and detailed plans, accompanied by a burning desire to achieve them. Knowing what you want dramatically increases the probabilities that you will get it because you can’t hit a target you can’t see!

A person without goals is like a car without a steering wheel, carried in no particular direction whichever way the wind blows. But a person with clear, specific goals will drive straight to their destination.

When you are working progressing, step-by-step toward something that is important to you, you generate within yourself a continuous feeling of success and achievement.

You feel more positive and motivated. You feel more in control of your own life. You feel happier and more fulfilled. You feel like a winner, and you soon develop the psychological momentum that enables you to overcome obstacles and plough through adversity as you move toward achieving the goals that are most important to you.

Accept 100% Responsibility for your life and everything that happens to you!

Since you become what you think about, and only you can think your private thoughts, you are completely responsible for every aspect of your life. You are where you are and what you are because YOU have decided to be there.

If there is any part of your life that you don’t like then you are responsible for changing it. Everything you are or ever will be in the future will be the result of your actions. Your destiny is largely determined as a result of what you do, or fail to do, day by day, year by year. Your future is in your hands nobody else’s.

So start today by taking 100% responsibility, with no blaming and no excuses, for everything you experience. Exert your personal power and take control of your thoughts, words and actions. Become the master of your own destiny.

Unfortunately most people constantly wish and hope that something good will happen to them. They buy lottery tickets watch hours of television every day, and complain about their lives. They resent successful people but are not willing to put in the hard work and make the sacrifices necessary to be successful. Don’t make the same mistake. Refuse to make excuses, blame others, or complain about your circumstances.

Have the courage to accept 100% responsibility for your life, which means taking the ownership of the results. Have the courage to say over and over again “I am 100% responsible” So when something goes wrong focus on the solution rather than the problem! Ask yourself what do I do from here? What’s the next step? What’s the solution?

The acceptance of responsibility is a great liberator. It puts you completely in charge of your own life, and everything that happens to you. Since your thinking controls your future, by taking charge of your thoughts, you can control the rest of your life and in doing so achieve all of your dreams.

Leave the past behind where it belongs –
Focus on your FUTURE

Don’t be a victim and be held back by the mistakes you have made in the past. Your choices and decisions of the past do not have to dictate your future. That was then and this is now.

The person who made those mistakes was an earlier version of you. Today you are a more mature and wiser person. You can decide to make new choices based on the person you are today. Break yourself free form your heritage, from your past, unleash the power within you and create your future to match your dreams.

“A man as a general rule owes very little to what he is born with a man is what he makes of himself” Alexander Graham Bell

It doesn’t matter where you are coming from; all that really matters is where you are going. The past is dead. It cannot be changed. It serves only to give you guidance and wisdom so that you can make better decisions in the future. All that matters is where you are going from this moment foreword.

There is no use crying over spilt milk. You can’t get it back. Now focus all your attention on what you want to experience in the future and begin thinking and moving in that direction. The wonderful things about being a human being is that you can put your hands of the wheel on your own future and steer in what ever direction you want to go.

A positive mental attitude

A positive mental attitude is closely associated with success in every area of life. The kind of people we like the most and want to be associated with, tend to be the people who are generally cheerful and optimistic about their work and personal lives. No one wants to spend time with a negative person that complains all the time.

Stress is inevitable. Problems are never ending. Failures and disappointments happen to everyone. The only thing over which you have any control over is how you respond to these stressful events. Is the glass half full or half empty? It’s up to you!

If you respond in a positive constructive way, you will maintain a positive attitude. When your mind is calm and clear you will be more creative and alert. You will be more likely to see more ways to solve your problems, and to keep moving to accomplishing your goals.

“Thought is the source of all wealth, all success, all material gain, all great discoveries, and inventions, and of all achievement”. Claud M. Bristol

Every successful person has experienced countless temporary setbacks, obstacles, and even outright defeats, in the course of his or her life. But it has been the ability to respond positively and constructively to these setbacks that has ultimately assured success. In fact failure is a pre requisite for success it teaches the lessons necessary to bounce back bigger and stronger than ever before!

“Failure is merely an opportunity to more intelligently begin again.” Henry Ford.

So don’t let the mass of negative information from the television and newspapers drag you down be positive and surround yourself with positive people who give you lots of energy. If something unpleasant happens to you then don’t get angry because this triggers a series of nervous reactions that shut down the most creative parts of your brain.

Instead accept problems as temporary, learn from them then move on and focus on positive things. This is a learned ability, acquired by practice. Successful men and women have worked hard at always looking positively on situations.

A positive thought is a 100 times more powerful than a negative thought. So choose your thoughts carefully, if you have a negative thought then don’t worry just accept it but then change your thinking to something positive in line with your goals. In doing so you become the masterpiece of your own future your own life, you are the Michael Angelo, enjoy the experience and have FUN with it.

Then resolve from this moment on to develop and maintain a positive mental attitude, no matter what happens.

Positive self-talk

One of the most powerful mental programming activities you can engage in is positive self-talk. Be your own cheerleader and talk to yourself positively all of the time. Say to yourself, “I’m the best”, “I like myself”, “I love myself” Making any one of these statements, or anything that is positive makes you feel good about yourself and causes you to be more motivated. You become more focused, more determined.

Furthermore psychologists have shown that the words, “I can do it,” are the antidote to the fear of failure that often holds you back from trying. Repeat these words over and over to yourself whenever you feel fearful or doubtful about anything that you want to attempt.

Say very enthusiastically to yourself, “I can do it, I can do it, I can do it!” When you start saying, “I can do it, I can do it,” you drive that message deep into your subconscious mind. This message lowers your fears and builds your self-confidence.

Train your mind –
Start a personal mental fitness program

Just as you become what you eat, you also become what you feed your mind. You eat healthy organic foods every day to feed your body the nutrients and building blocks it needs to give you fabulous health and energy. In the same way, you feed your mind with healthy mental foods every day to keep yourself happy, optimistic and ready for any challenge that life can throw at you.

“More gold has been mined from the thoughts of men than has ever been taken from the earth.” – Napoleon Hill

Much of your emotions are determined by your self-talk, that is, by the way you talk to yourself moment to moment. By controlling and directing your inner dialogue, you take control of your thoughts, feelings, actions and ultimately your own future.

In order to be happy and successful the focus must be moved away from the negatives, from what is not wanted and to the positives what you want from life. If you do not consciously and deliberately think and talk about the things you want, you have a natural tendency to begin thinking about the things you fear or don’t want to happen, the people or situations that make you angry or unhappy.

If you do not firmly take control of your own mind and keep your thoughts focused on where you want to go, you will by default, slip into the negativity and work that is unfortunately too common in people today.

Talk about yourself and your life the way you want them to be, not the way they might happen to be at the moment. Remember, before you can experience it in your reality, you must convince your subconscious mind that you already have it. If you don’t feel positive and enthusiastic at the moment, pretend that you do. “Fake it until you make it”

Your sub conscious mind, which controls your attitude, personality, body language, emotions, levels of excitement, and energy, is mechanical like a computer. It has no ability to think or decide by itself. It merely accepts instructions.

It is as though your conscious mind is the gardener and your subconscious mind is the garden. You can plant either flowers or weeds. Either will grow. But if you don’t plant flowers, your garden will fill up with weeds all by itself!

You can counter any tendency toward negative thinking by focusing instead on your goals and dreams. Whenever something happens that makes you angry, neutralize the negative thought by thinking about your goals, especially your biggest and most exciting goal. Talk, think visualize and feel your goals as if they have already happened. Talk to yourself about what you want, and use that to keep your mind off the things that you don’t want.

Whenever you have a problem of any kind, discipline yourself to think about the solution and don’t focus on the problem. Stop reviewing the problem in your mind; forget about who was to blame or wondering what you could have done differently.

Instead think about the solution and what you are going to do next. The instant that you start thinking about what you can do, your mind clams and clears. You become positive and constructive. You are back in control.

Think about where you are going rather than where you have been. Think about your ideal life and the wonderful possibilities that lie ahead of you. Your future dreams are naturally positive and uplifting. While you are thinking about them, you can’t simultaneously think about something that holds you back or drags you down.

Because you tend to be sensitive to your environment, you must take control over the influences that you allow to reach your conscious mind. Just as you would only eat healthy nutritious foods if you want to be healthy and superbly physically fit, you must only take in healthy, nutritious influences if you want to be superbly fit mentally as well. Associate with positive happy people, read inspiring books, listen to positive audio programs etc.

One of the best ways of self improvement is to be around successful, positive happy people. Spending time around other positive people energizes you, makes you more creative, and makes you feel enthusiastic towards what you are doing. On the other hand spending too much time in the company of negative or “toxic” people often drags you down!

But when you talk to successful, happy people, you find that they think and talk about their dreams, the things they want to do, be and have. They think about what they need to do and achieve to realise their dreams, and what their dreams will look like when they come true. On the other hand, what do poor people think about most of the time?

What not to do –
Avoid negative thinking

If you talk to unhappy people and ask them what they think about most of the time, you will find that almost without fail, they think about their problems, their bills, their negative relationships, and all the difficulties in their lives. They fill their minds about how little money they have, how much things cost and how they wish they could have a better life.

The more you think or talk about the people and situations that make you angry or unhappy, the more upset and unhappier you become. Negative emotions actually depress the mind and body.

They rob you of energy. They disempower you. They depress your immune system and make you more susceptible to illness of all kinds. They tire you out and discourage you. They undermine your confidence and enthuasim and lower your ability to perform effectively. One unrestrained outburst of anger can consume as much energy as eight hours of work.

By the Law of Attraction, you get more of what ever you think and talk about most of the time. So people who worry about money all the time will always have money problems. People who think and talk negatively about other people will always have problems in their relationships. People who complain about their jobs will always have problems at work etc. because more of the same always gives more of the same.

When you worry you attract into your life more of the things that you are worrying about. So you must be careful to think about, talk about, and imagine only the things you want to have. You must refuse to dwell upon the things that you don’t want. You must do everything possible to assure that these mental principles and laws are working for you and not against you. This is essential for creating the future of your dreams!

When you think of something that you want or need that you don’t have the money for at the time, instead of saying, "I can’t afford it," ask the question, "How can I afford it?" or “How can you get it”? Always focus on the solution and how can you get from where you are today to where you want to go in the future? This type of positive attitude will change your life.

Because you can only think about one thing at a time, if you are thinking about your goals, and how to achieve them, you cannot simultaneously think about your fears and worries! Feed your mind from morning to night with words, pictures, information and ideas consistent with your goals for financial success.

Develop the habit of thinking positively and confidently about every aspect of your life. Read stories, books and articles about other successful people. Think about how you could be like them. Visualize yourself, imagine, fantasize, and pretend in your mind that you are like the kind of people that you admire and respect and want to be like. Then fall unconditionally in love with yourself!

Fall in love with yourself –
What happens when you say “I love myself”?

You ARE a genius, blessed with unique and special talents. It is your destiny to have a wonderful life, full of happiness, fun and unlimited success. The starting place to having a happy life is by loving yourself. If you don’t love yourself then nobody else can. Other people can only love you as much as you can love yourself. But how do you deeply and unconditionally fall in love with yourself?

You fall in love with yourself by finding out who you want to be and become, by taking the time to think about your values and creating a mission statement and goals. Then live your life and all your actions by being true to your ethics. The more you do this the more you fall in love with yourself!

Now here is a little trick to speed the process up. Before you read any further go in front of a mirror and say out aloud “I love myself” 5 times. No cheating put this article down right away and go in front of a mirror and say out aloud “I love myself” 5 times, did you notice what happened? You smiled right!

Just as you become what you think about, you also become what you say about yourself. The most powerful words you can say to yourself, especially if you are feeling down or tense about any situation, are the words, I truly and unconditionally love myself or I like myself!

That’s because when you say I love myself or I like myself you send this positive message deep into your subconscious mind. The more you like or love yourself, the more confident a person you will become. The more confidence you have the better you will perform in every area of your life.

So repeat to yourself every day especially when you get up and before you fall asleep at night, I truly and unconditionally love and like myself! I am a good person and I always do my very best at everything I attempt. I am a big success. Everything that happens to me is simply part of the process of achieving happiness. I am grateful for everything I have and I know I will be a success.

YOU are a genius, perfect and unique

You have all the brainpower you will ever need within in you, to achieve any goal that you can set for yourself. You have the capacity to function at far higher levels of intelligence and creativity than you every have before. Did you know that your brain has 100 billion cells and that each cell is connected and interconnected to 20,000 other cells?

This means that the possible number of different thoughts and ideas you can generate is literally mind blowing. There is not a problem you cannot solve, an obstacle you cannot overcome, or a goal that you cannot achieve when you begin to tap into the incredible powers of your amazing brain. The fact is that your potential is unlimited.

You ARE a genius even if you don’t realize it!

You have the capacity to learn at amazing rates and to remember more information than you can imagine. Successful people fill their minds with thoughts, words, pictures of health and happiness and financial security most of the time that’s why they are successful!

These thoughts trigger the reticular activating cortex, the part of the brain that makes you more alert and sensitive to things that you need to be aware of to achieve your dreams.

For example, if you decide to start a new company, you will start to see news and information about your potential new company everywhere. Mentions in newspapers, magazines and television will jump out at you.

These notices have always been there but now you have sensitized your brain to pick them up and draw them to your attention with far greater frequency and vividness than before.

The key to unlocking your genial powers is to find out what makes you happy and do what you love to do! Most people just float through the day without thinking much about what makes them really happy. If you don’t know what you want then you’re never going to achieve it because as discussed earlier in the article you can’t hit a target you can’t see!

Because the average person hasn’t taken the time to think about what they want from life they tend to talk to themselves in a negative way. Much of people’s inner dialogue tends to be about the things they fear, their worries, the people they’re angry at; they’re problems, concerns and so on.

But you are different because you know that to be successful you need to think about what you want from life and you have to consciously keep your words, your inner dialogue, consistent with what you wish to accomplish and to do that you need to think about what makes you happy!

Now if you could wave a magic wand, dream your biggest dreams and change anything about your life, what would it be? What would you dare to attempt if you had no limitations, if you knew you could not fail?

If you were absolutely guaranteed success what goals would you set for yourself? Would it be a new job, a happy family life, your dream house, wealth or even living long and happy life? Take the time to write down the road map of what you want out of life and determine your most important values and goals.
